For nearly a decade, Ganti & Associates (USA), and their local office in Mumbai, GA Design Consultants LLP, together known as GA, have been designing built environments, master planning, hospitality, space planning, and architectural lighting for clients in the United States, Africa, and India. With a wide array of experience and strong design skills, GA has become well known for its purity of form and simplicity in expression. Well-respected for the firms’ contemporary designs, GA founders have been greatly influenced by architecture masters Richard Meier, Louis Kahn, and Le Corbusier.

With a 25-person staff – and growing – GA is a cross cultural studio which has led to numerous national and international architectural design opportunities for the firm in this age of globalization.

GA employs talented architects from all over the world. In the Mumbai office, GA employs Senior Design Directors from the United States to head projects and bring to the table years of design and construction experience. Combining international experience with local expertise is the core strength of GA. Understanding local materials, methodology, municipal codes, pricing, and execution methods has given GA a unique position for projects in India. Interpreting international codes and details, and marrying those with Indian design and construction practices has made GA a firm of choice for many large-scale projects in India.

GA also has partnered with Meagan Jacobi (Senior Interior Designer) as a part of GA’s USA operations. Meagan and her team provide the support for several GA projects for Interiors and FF&E, both in the USA and India.

Shekar Ganti

Shekar Ganti (Partner) has more than twenty years’ experience in Master Planning, Architecture, and Construction. With a Bachelors degree (Sir. JJ College of Architecture) and Masters degree (University of Southern California) in Architecture, Shekar leads all aspects of design in the firm. He has worked with Richard Meier & Partners in Los Angeles for a decade as a Senior Designer and contributed to many projects. He is licensed to practice in the USA and India, and is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the Indian Institute of Architecture (IIA), and the International Association of Shells and Spatial Structures (IASS). With global experience in design and a vision for future technology, Shekar believes in creating sustainable spaces, as Green technology is his forte.

Kiran Ganti
Principal – Lighting Design

Kiran Ganti (Partner) has more than twenty years’ Lighting Design experience worldwide. Her background in Architecture, along with her intuitive understanding of design, have earned her a reputation of an outstanding designer. With nineteen years of combined experience working in the USA and India, she heads the Lighting Team at GA, USA and GA Design Consultants, India. Her determination, along with her creativity, allow her to conquer the most challenging design hurdles. Kiran is strongly dedicated to each project and leaves no detail overlooked. Her enthusiasm and creativity, backed by ample technical knowledge, result in the most evocative lighting solutions. She has designed several large-scale projects ranging from master plans, hotels, high-end residential and commercial projects. Some of her notable projects (a few designed while an Associate at ILD, USA) include: Four Seasons Hotel, Mumbai; Hyatt Regency, Shanghai; Park Hotel, Kolkatta; Hanuman Temple, Dolvi; Santa Monica College Library, Los Angeles; St. Regis Hotel, San Francisco; Hyatt Regency Hotel, Pune; and Kohinoor Square Towers, Mumbai. Kiran has successfully managed a variety of projects from concept to realization, while her communicative interactions with clients and her project teams results in successful collaborations. She is a member of the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) – USA. Kiran has won several international awards for her work in the field of lighting. She has designed several large-scale projects ranging from master plans, hotels, high-end residential and commercial projects. She is a member of the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) – USA.

Mynor L Fahrenreich
Senior Design Director

Over thirty-five years of versatile experience in architectural design and construction identify Mynor. With a portfolio that includes high-end Residential, Governmental Administrative Buildings, Theme Parks and Retail establishments, Mynor’s experience also includes his participation in the Distribution Center Conveyor System Design, implementing mechanical structural fabrication, in projects including The Los Angeles Times Distribution Center. During his practice in the offices of well-renowned classical architect Richard Manion, Mynor helped design and execute the construction of a $100 million mansion, the highest price paid for real estate in the United States, winning several accolades in architectural publications. Mynor comes from a background of Architectural classicists including the aforementioned Richard Manion, Head Chair for the American Association of Classic Architects, and Peter Choate, Designer to the Stars. Mynor is an active registered Associate member of the American Institute of Architecture (AIA). His love for detail implementation in all of his projects has gained him a special place within the team of designers he has worked with. Some of the projects in Mynor’s portfolio include: Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios, Orlando Florida, US; Evershine Residence, San Jose, CA, US; a $100,000,000 residence; Santa Monica City Council Chambers, Santa Monica, CA, US; and Ronald Reagan Federal Building and United States Courthouse, Santa Ana, CA, US; among many others.

Larry Stricker
Senior Design Director

Hospitality Designer and  former partner at Killingsworth Stricker Lindgren Wilson & Associates, Larry received his Architecture degree from California State Polytechnic University at San Luis Obispo, CA (USA), where his senior thesis won the American Institute of Steel Construction Design Award. Larry is a licensed Architect in the state of California and a member of the American Institute of Architects. With over forty years of experience designing renowned hotels, resorts, and spas all over the world, Larry brings a wealth of appropriate experience to Ganti & Associates. Many of the hotel and resort projects presented in our portfolio are works of Larry Stricker while he was designing with KSLW.
