For Exxact Technologies – a fast-growing IT company formed in California with its main office in Pune – GA designed an eight-storey headquarters for 250 people around a single architectural decision: a structure that allows completely column-free office floors.

Solar shading screens the east and west facades while a shear core blocks the south; workstations sit at the centre of the plan, away from the glazing, under a clutter-free ceiling of bounced, diffused light made possible by cavity floors and radiant cooling. The terrace serves as the company's social room.
